Fall is upon us, and nothing says cozy like freshly baked goods, preferably ones loaded with cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Yum! Superfood Apple Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or cashew butter
  • 1 Tbsp each Integrity Foods™ Mesquite and Lucuma
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together applesauce, nut butter, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in the mesquite, lucuma, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, flour, oats, and baking powder. Mix until combined.
  4. Peel and dice the apples. Add to bowl. 
  5. Pour mixture into greased pan.
  6. Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
